My family just returned from our Europe vacation. We stayed 6 nights in Rome. We loved Rome and this little gem of a hotel. The owner and staff is friendly. They are always available and eager to help out with any question. They both greet you with joyful smiles. We had two lovely double rooms. The rooms were very clean, comfortable. The shared kitchen area was nice. The kitchen was great to have as there is an excellent bakery right across the street. The bakery has wonderful breads, cookies, lunch meats and drinks. It is much less expensive and better then buying all the above at a restaurant or a street. The staff offered us excellent restaurants to try. The metro station is very near from the house. It was very easy to get around Rome from here. We were sad to leave this wonderful bed and breakfast. I would love to return! Tom and family

Rome is wonderful ! Just returned from a 5 nights in the house B&B Saxa Rubra in Rome. What a great place with a good price, lovely bedroom with air conditioning, friendly people, good breakfast, nice kitchen with fridge and all furniture. The metro station is at only 40 meters from the house and so it is possible see everything, all the attractions. There are two cheap and good restaurants under the house. There are all the services in the area. Definitely recommended. Anita |

Bed and Breakfast in Rome is a lovely and particularly place to stay. It is possible to visit all attractions by metro. It’s easy. The metro station is at only 40 metres from the house and in only15 minutes without traffic it is arrive in wonderful Popolo square, near Spanish steps. The owners and staff were wonderful and very willing to answer any question we had. We spent 7 nights there and wish we could have stayed a couple of more to see all in Rome that we wanted. The breakfast was very delicious. I will definitely recommend B&B Saxa Rubra Roma to any family and friends that visit Rome. Roger |
